Victoria HAS Secrets and So Do I!
I know there are a lot of people who don't shop at Victoria's Secret because it's too expensive. I used to be one of them until I had children. I watched my, already not very large, breasts deflate and become smaller after nursing my boys. I know there is the opinion that I should feel good about myself and these types of things are normal after becoming a mother. However, I wasn't happy with it. I didn't feel good about it. I had considered (briefly) getting breast implants. That was until a friend introduced me to the Miraculous bra (now called Bombshell) and I discovered that Victoria does, in fact, have secrets. I was in love with this AMAZING, yes, MIRACULOUS bra! I did feel like a Bombshell wearing it. Then I saw the price! *insert GASP here* Regularly, they retail for $49.50+!
Now, some of you are probably thinking "that's not bad for a good bra!" Well, I am a frugal momma. Seriously, I had only ever bought bras at Walmart, Ross, or other discount type stores. To spend more than $20, at the very most, was never a consideration. So, I splurged on this bra. I paid $50 for it. I know all my fellow couponers are probably doing everything they can not to start yelling at me through their computers right now. Hey, that's way less than a boob job, right?
Looking back I feel foolish for spending that much on it. You can find out all the secrets to saving money at Victoria's secret if you go *HERE*. ;) That said, I LOVED this bra! I felt great wearing it. I felt beautiful and confident. so what if they weren't my "real" breasts? My husband liked the real ones, anyway, but I just felt better in my clothes and THAT is what mattered. It's funny but there was a time I would have been mortified to tell someone I wore a padded bra. Three kids later, I have no shame. :) Desperate times call for desperate measures, right?
Now, you are probably wondering "what makes this bra so fabulous?"
The Bombshell bra boasts "The ultimate lift-loving push-up instantly adds 2 full cup sizes for maximum cleavage and fullness. Specially designed to create an hourglass silhouette, while keeping the lightweight padding your sexy little secret."
It absolutely does!
Features:
*Maximum lift: Adds 2 cup sizes
*Underwire cups
*Adjustable straps
*Wear classic or crossback
*Polyester/Nylon/Elastane
The top bra (as you can probably tell from the famous VS pink and white stripes) is the Bombshell and my favorite one, by the way. You can see the amount of padding in it. The bottom is my WonderBra push-up. It doesn have a little bit pf uplift padding but nothing compared to the Bombshell.
Now, here are my before and after photos. I threw in the photo with the WonderBra for reference and comparison.
Make sure if you are interested in purchasing this bra that you read my post about getting deals at Victoria's Secret! Right now, they have some that are on clearance for $24.99 and $29.99!
