A few months back I had the fabulous opportunity to work with House Party, Simple Skincare and Makers by hosting a Celebrate Kindness House Party. I was so excited to do this event because I absolutely love the idea behind it and have fallen in L.O.V.E. with Simple products. I could probably rant all day about them BUT I will save that and you can read some of my Simple product reviews in another post. ;)
Some of my closest gals and I got to watch the premiere of a new episode of Makers.
Makers: Women Who Make America is a documentary series highlighting the struggle for women's equality, starting in the 1950's. This three part series first aired on PBS in February of last year. On September 30th, PBS premiered the first of six new episodes of Makers that expand on the impact the women's movement had on six fields once largely closed to women: business, space, Hollywood, comedy, war, and politics. If you haven't seen it, definitely take the time because it is worth the watch.
In addition to the show, we were sent a very generous party pack full of Simple Skincare products for us all to try out and take home in swag bags.
Party Pack contents:
This party was in the fall so we enjoyed some yummy banana muffins and some delicious drinks.
She loves Simple so much that she wanted to take them all!
My FAVORITE daily moisturizer!
Make sure to check out the #NoMakeupWakeUp on Instagram to see all the other beautiful faces of women (and men) who took the No Makeup Wake Up challenge.
I made sure to talk to my guests about the importance of skincare and cleansing your face before bed. I was so excited to send them home with their Simple goodies so they could try them out and take part in the "No Makeup Wakeup" challenge put forth by the Simple brand.
Yes, my no makeup wake up sometimes includes a wee one in my bed.
Want to get awesome goodies like this, too? Join House Party and apply to host your own parties with your friends. They offer great opportunities for a good time.
