Skip Heavy Foundation:
For normal to dry skin, opt for a BB cream or tinted moisturizer. Oily or combination skin are better suited for a pressed powder foundation that will help even out your complexion and minimize shine while keeping the natural look.
Subtly enhanced brows:
You don't have to bypass your brows entirely to get a no-makeup makeup look. Instead of a pencil or gel, opt for a softer look using a powder. I love to use a matte brown eyeshadow like Younique's loose pigment in the shade Infatuated.
Don't Skip the blush:
Blush gives your face a healthy looking glow without needing to do too much else. Pinch your cheek and choose a shade that matches your natural flush. Then apply to the apple of your cheek.
Tightline Your Eyes:
SAY WHAT!? ;) Tightlining is a fantastic way to define your eyes without the drama of typical eyeliner. This technique lines the upper waterline (part of the lid under your eyelashes) instead of creating the thick line on top of your eyelid.
Enhance Your Lashes:
Curl your lashes to give your eyes a brighter, wide awake look and swap your normal black mascara for a more subtle brown or dark brown.
Skip The Sparkle:
While sparkle and shimmer are gorgeous, they don't look natural. When applying eyeshadow, select matte formulas in neutral tones.
I love the neutrals in the Coastal Scents Revealed Palette
