My Love of Simple Skincare AND a FREE Sample!
I have had the chance to try out quite a few products from the Simple Skincare line. Let me tell you, I was super skeptical and nervous to try it because I had already fallen in love with my Younique skincare. My skincare was starting to get a bit too pricey for my liking and I really wanted to find a more budget-friendly routine that offered the same great results. I have really finicky and sensitive skin that breaks out, dries out, gets oily, etc. with many different skincare products so I was waited quite awhile to switch things up. What I found when I decided to take the plunge into the Simple line is that my skin loves their products! What makes it even better is that I can easily access them as they are available at all the major retailers I frequently shop. I have now switched over to having a daily skincare routine that is made up of mostly Simple products and I wish I had done it sooner.
Simple advertises themselves as being "Sensitive Skin Experts" and boasts
Those are some claims I can stand behind. The fact that they don't add any perfume is great because that means I can talk my husband into using them without fear of "smelling like a woman". Here are my short and sweet reviews on the products I have tried thus far. Believe me, I have intentions to try out more.

Complete Salon Manicure Nail Lacquer by Sally Hansen
I am always hunting for the best beauty products for a bargain. What can I say, I love to get the most for my money! It makes me feel good to know I can look great for a fraction of what some people invest. That said, I have been hunting for the best nail polish and I think I may have found it.
I'm so sure of this, in fact, that I just purchased twenty-five bottles of it! Shhh... don't tell hubby! The polish I'm talking about is by Sally Hansen and it's called "Complete Salon Manicure".
It generally retails for $6-$8 depending where you purchase it. However, there are coupons out for it all the time AND Sally Hansen loves to keep up with changing trends in nail color so they are constantly refreshing their available colors and retailers are giving them deep clearance discounts to make room for new colors.
Sally Hansen Complete Salon manicure is supposed to be a complete manicure in one bottle. It is a base coat, nail strengthener, color, top coat, and gel shine finish all-in-one! I am often skeptical of claims like this and am still, usually, disappointed over my results. I am really rough on my nails and I'm lucky if I can make it to the next morning with my polish still intact. With Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure, I can easily get two days out of the color before I even start to see any signs of wear. After that I start to see some tip wear and after about four days I start to have a bit of chipping.
My favorite thing about this polish is how easy it is to apply and how quickly it dries. The brush that comes in Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polishes is flat and wide with a rounded tip. It makes it perfect for application with the fewest strokes and helps me keep the polish on my nail rather than on the sides of my finger or cuticles.

I'm usually not a fan of yellows but I really like this one. The color is 420 Yellow Kitty. It did take 3 thin coats to become opaque but it is really pretty.

Color is 670 Midnight in NY
Anyway, I highly recommend Sally Hansen Complete salon Manicure and it definitely gets the Mom Turned Upside Down KISS of Approval!
